Licenses
Which license do I need for a logo?
The Desktop License covers logo use, personal and commercial projects, and up to 2,000 printed or sold products. To trademark the logo, you need the National Corporate License.
Can I use the font for Instagram, YouTube or TikTok content?
Not with the Desktop License. Choose the Monetized Social Media License: digital ads and content on all social platforms up to 100,000 views a month.
Can I use the font on my website?
Yes, with the Webfont License: 1 website, embedded with @font-face, up to 10,000 page views a month. If your visitors type with the font, you need the Server License.
Can I use the font in Canva, Templett or Corjl?
Yes, with the Monetized Social Media License. It allows embedding the font in web tools like Canva, Templett and Corjl. Only the license holder can use the font file.
I am a designer working for a client. Who should buy the license?
The license belongs to whoever uses the font. Do not send the font file to your client; if the client needs to use the font too, they should buy their own license.
How many computers can I install the font on?
The Desktop License allows 1 user on 2 computers. The Extended License allows up to 10 users on 10 computers.
Can I upgrade my license later?
Contact us with your order number and the license you need, and we will help you upgrade.
My project is bigger than these licenses. What now?
Contact us for a custom license. We write terms for corporate, app, broadcast and company-wide use.
Buying & payment
How do I pay?
Checkout is handled by PayPal.
Do prices differ between fonts?
Yes. Each font page shows the price of every license for that font.
Can I get an invoice?
Yes. Contact us with your order number and we will send you a PDF invoice.
Can I get a refund?
Fonts are digital files, so purchases cannot be cancelled or refunded. Please test the font with the type tester before you buy.
Downloads & files
Where do I find my files after payment?
Right after payment, your files are ready to download in My Account, under Downloads.
Which file formats do I get?
OTF, TTF and WOFF. OTF and TTF work in design apps on Mac and Windows; WOFF is for websites.
I lost my download. Can I get it again?
Log in to My Account and open Downloads. If the link is missing, contact us with your order number.
Using the fonts
How do I use ligatures, swashes and alternates?
Open the Glyphs panel in Illustrator or Photoshop, or turn on OpenType features (ligatures, stylistic sets) in your design app, then pick the alternate you like.
Does the font support my language?
Fonts marked “Multilingual support” on their page include extra Latin characters. Check the character set on the font page before you buy.
Free demos
Can I use a free font commercially?
No. Free downloads are for personal use only. For logos, client work, products, websites or social media, buy a license on the font page.
What counts as personal use?
Projects with no business purpose: school work, practice, and your own cards or gifts that are not sold.
Custom work
Do you design custom fonts and logos?
Yes. We design custom fonts, logotypes and hand lettering for brands. Send a brief from the Contact page and we reply with a proposal and quote.
How long does a custom project take?
It depends on the scope. We include a timeline in every proposal.
